PAYMENT POLICY

By placing an order on this website or our app, you are entering into a purchase or sale transaction solely with Ladakh Services. This applies to all cases where payment is made by all modes (credit card, bank card, debit card, cheque, bank transfer) and other payments that are to be made to Ladakh Services.

PLACING AN ORDER

To place an order you will need to complete the transaction on the website. By placing an order on the site, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions and payment policy published on this page of the website.

Once you have selected your products and added them to your shopping cart, you will need to proceed to the checkout section. Here you will be asked for the address and other contact information as well as payment related information.

Once the payment is successfully completed, your order will be processed on receipt of the funds from the bank, credit card company or payment gateway. 

PAYMENT OPTIONS

The following payment methods are currently available:

  • Domestic and international credit cards issued by banks and institutions that are part of the Visa and MasterCard Network

  • Visa Debit Cards

  • Net Banking/Direct Debit payments from certain banks in India

  • Cash on Delivery (COD)

A full list will be available at the time of checkout and prior to making payments for your purchases.

As prescribed by the financial institutions issuing the credit or debit cards affiliated with Visa and MasterCard, you will be required to submit your 16-digit credit card number, card expiry date and 3-digit CVV number (found on the reverse side of the card) when you make your online transactions via your Credit or Debit card. You should also have enrolled your Credit Card with VBV (Verified by Visa) or MSC (MasterCard Secure Code) to complete the transaction.

PRODUCT PRICING

Product prices listed on the website or app are current. While care has been taken to label the products accurately, errors in data entry and updating may occur. We reserve the right to cancel the order in case a transaction has been made where the price indicated was not correct. In the rare event that happens, we will refund the complete amount received from the customer.

Prices are subject to change without advance notice.

All prices on this website are in Indian Rupees (INR). For international cards used on the site, the bank’s applicable exchange rate and fees will apply. We do not have any jurisdiction on this and any disputes or queries on exchange rates and bank charges must be directed to the bank or institution that issued your card or payment instrument.

All orders are acknowledged at current pricing. We will bill at price in effect at the time of receipt of money and raise an invoice.

Some of our products are liable for GST in India.

SECURITY

Transactions on the website are protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and Secure Data Encryption using a 1024-bit process. Any information you enter when transacting with the web store is sent in a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) session and is encrypted to protect you against unintentional disclosure to third parties. This is an assurance that it follows the best security practices adopted by major online vendors where all payments are processed in real time for your security and immediate peace of mind.

Credit card and Debit card information is not stored by us and is not taken by us. This information is taken directly by the payment gateway provided who is authorised and is compliant with the regulations and requirements of various banks and institutions and payment franchisees that it is associated with.

PRODUCTS THAT MIGHT BE OUT OF STOCK

We strive to replenish stocks and keep our products available on our site for sale and dispatch. However, in case the product is not available for any reason, we will contact you within 2 business days and give you the option to exchange, delay or cancel the order as per your convenience.

SHIPPING

Ladakh Services offers free domestic shipping across India to all the pin codes serviced by our logistics partners. In case your location isn’t serviced by our logistics partner, we shall  send the consignment via India Post’s Book Post.

We do not currently ship internationally.

DELIVERY TIME

We endeavour to deliver the products to you within a span of 2-7 working days from the receipt of order and payment, as per the address for delivery.

ORDER TRACKING

A tracking number will be provided once the consignment is shipped.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

We aim to create and deliver services and products for your appreciation and satisfaction. Ladakh Services return or exchange policy applies only if the product is damaged or incorrectly delivered. All refund and replacement requests must be made within 7 days of receiving the order.

DAMAGED DELIVERY

Please do not accept a shipment that shows signs of damage in transit. You can decline to accept a damaged order and ask the delivery person to return the order. Please contact Ladakh Services with the order number via our contact form below to inform us of this in case it happens.

INCORRECT DELIVERY

In the unlikely event that you receive the wrong book or product, please get in touch with us within 24 hours by either calling us at the number provided here, or via the contact form.

DISCLAIMER

Please bear in mind that minor variations on the colour and texture can occur from what is visible in the product pictures on the website due to the assorted technological and physical restrictions of the digital medium. Many of our products are handmade, and can lead to minor variations because of  the manufacturing and artisanal process. The buyer acknowledges this risk when they agree to these terms and conditions.
